Presenter mode

Give the live demo without the live product.

Share your screen and click through a recorded demo as if it were your app. The tooltips stay out of sight, your notes sit in a separate window, and there’s no staging account to break halfway through the call.

  • Free (not included)
  • Pro (not included)
  • Team (included)

Included in Team for every member of the workspace, viewers included.

On the shared screen

It looks like your app, not a slideshow.

Start presenting and the demo fills the screen with no player controls, cover or end card. With Hidden guides on, tooltips, cards, hotspot rings, zoom and dimming stay invisible, and every spot you recorded is still clickable.

  • Press R to reveal the current tip when you want it, or H to show or hide them all
  • Present the published version or the latest draft
  • On a step with choices, pick the path with 1 to 4 while you talk
  • Lead forms show as previews, and timer steps wait for you
  • Play the demo’s narration for the call, if it has one

Notes and speaker view

Your talking points, off the shared screen.

Add presenter notes in the editor to any step, screen or hotspot. Only your team sees them, in presenter mode. They’re never published.

  • Open the notes drawer with N, or the speaker view in a second window with S
  • The speaker view shows your notes, what’s next, the list of steps and a timer
  • It stays in sync with the shared screen, and you can move back and forward from either one
  • Notes for each hotspot on a clickable screen, and a branching step’s choices with their keys

Keyboard

Every move has a key.

Keep your eyes on the call. The whole presentation runs from the keyboard, and presentation clickers work too.

  • → or Space for next, ← for back, Home to restart
  • G opens Jump to…, or type a step number and press Enter
  • F for full screen, B to blank the screen, Esc to exit
  • Page Down and Page Up from a clicker, and “.” to blank the screen

For this call

Their name on screen, and nothing left behind.

If the demo uses variables, Personalize for this call fills in the prospect’s name and company on the shared screen, in your notes and in the speaker view. Nothing is saved.

  • Values apply to this presentation only
  • Presenting doesn’t count as views in analytics and sends nothing to your integrations
  • Any member can present, including viewers, who don’t need a creator seat
  • Presents in the demo’s original language

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which plan includes presenter mode?

Team. Every member of a Team workspace can present, including viewers, who don’t use a paid seat. On Free and Pro, Present shows what presenter mode does and how to upgrade. See pricing.

Can the people on the call see my notes?

No. Presenter notes show only in presenter mode, in the drawer or the speaker view. They’re never part of the hosted page, embeds or guides.

Does presenting show up in analytics?

No. Presenter mode tracks nothing, so your demo’s analytics only count real viewers.

Does it work with clickable demos?

Yes. You click hotspots on the shared screen as you would in the product, with notes for each screen and hotspot. Guided demos step through their tooltips, hidden or not.

How does the speaker view stay in sync?

It opens as a second window in the same browser. Put it on another screen or next to your call, and it follows every step you take on the shared one.

Your next demo is one click-through away.
