Arcade alternative

An Arcade alternative that turns one recording into a demo and a guide.

Arcade makes interactive demos and sells AI Video separately. AtriumKit records your web app once in Chrome, gives you an interactive demo and a written step-by-step guide, and keeps recorded pages as HTML so you can change their text later. The guide and the HTML editing are on every plan, Free included.

AtriumKit vs Arcade

The short answer.

Pick Arcade if…

Pick Arcade if your demos are mostly for marketing and you want AI voiceovers on a free plan, a desktop app for Mac and Windows apps or a Figma plugin, GIF exports, or video steps for scrolling and typing. Arcade also sells AI Video as a separate product with 4K exports, and its interactive demo pricing lists SOC 2 on every plan.

Pick AtriumKit if…

Pick AtriumKit if you record web apps in Chrome and want a written step-by-step guide from every demo, plus page text you can edit after recording without an Enterprise contract. Both are on every plan, Free included, with branching, clickable demos and version history. Pro is $38 per creator a month, or $32 billed yearly; Arcade Growth is $50, or $42.50 billed yearly.

The video studio (beta) is on every plan: 2 minutes of exported video a month on Free, 60 minutes per creator on Pro and 3 hours per creator on Team.

Arcade

Free: $0, with 1 published demo and 1 user. Growth: $50 per seat a month billed monthly, or $42.50 a month billed yearly ($510 per seat a year), up to 10 seats. Enterprise: custom. These are Arcade’s interactive demo plans; its AI Video product is priced separately.

Switching from Arcade

Why teams switch to AtriumKit.

  • 01

    Fix page text without Enterprise

Arcade lists HTML capture, and editing a captured page after you record, on Enterprise; Page Morph on Growth edits the live page before you record. AtriumKit keeps recorded pages as HTML on every plan, so a renamed button or a typo is an edit in the editor. A moved control or a changed flow still means recording that flow again.

  • 02

A written guide from every demo

Arcade’s Step-by-Step Guide is on Growth, and its docs say you regenerate it after you change the demo. Every published AtriumKit demo, Free included, gets a hosted guide page with a screenshot per step, and it updates when you publish again. Copy it as rich text or Markdown, or print it to PDF.

  • 03

A lower price on Pro, and more on Free

Pro is $38 per creator a month, or $32 billed yearly, against $50 or $42.50 for Arcade Growth. AtriumKit Free publishes 3 demos instead of 1, and includes branching (Growth on Arcade), clickable demos and 7 days of version history (Enterprise on Arcade).

  • 04

An MCP server that edits demos

Arcade’s MCP server reports demo performance and makes AI videos, and its docs say it can’t create or edit interactive demos. AtriumKit’s MCP server, on every plan, lets Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor edit steps and tooltips, translate and publish, within your plan’s limits.

An honest answer

When Arcade is the better pick.

No tool is right for every team. These are the cases where we’d point you to Arcade.

  • You want AI voiceovers on a free plan. Arcade Free includes AI voiceover and AI copy. AtriumKit voiceovers are on Pro and Team.
  • You record desktop apps, mobile apps or Figma designs. Arcade has a Mac and Windows desktop app and a Figma plugin on every plan. AtriumKit records web apps in Chrome only.
  • Your demos need motion. Arcade records scrolling, typing and dragging as video steps. AtriumKit saves a screen for each click and doesn’t record video.
  • You need GIFs or 4K video. Arcade exports GIF and MP4 on Growth, and its separate AI Video Pro plan exports 4K. AtriumKit’s video studio, in beta, exports MP4 only, at up to 1080p.
  • You want company names, or an email for every form. Arcade’s Audience Reveal names viewing companies through Clearbit, and its forms email you each submission. AtriumKit shows anonymous viewers by country (Pro and Team) and sends leads to your CRM, chat tool or webhook, not your inbox.
  • AI video is the main job. Arcade’s AI Video is its own product, making teaser videos, sizzle reels and product overviews from a prompt, your demos and your brand kit.
  • You need SOC 2 or your own domain. Arcade lists SOC 2 on every plan and custom domains on Enterprise. AtriumKit has no SOC 2 report and serves demos from its own domain, though you can embed them on your site.
  • You want a long track record. AtriumKit launched in October 2026.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is AtriumKit cheaper than Arcade?

On Pro, yes. Pro is $38 per creator a month, or $32 billed yearly, and Arcade Growth is $50, or $42.50 billed yearly, so three creators billed yearly cost $96 a month instead of $127.50. AtriumKit Team, at $69 or $58 billed yearly, costs more per creator than Growth. Some things Arcade keeps for Enterprise, like editing captured pages, version history and demo collections, are on AtriumKit’s Free or Pro plans. But Arcade’s Free plan includes AI voiceovers, which AtriumKit has on Pro and Team, and Arcade offers Growth discounts to companies before their Series A. See pricing.

Can I move my Arcade demos to AtriumKit?

Not automatically. There’s no importer, so you record each flow again with the Chrome extension. Click through it once and every click becomes a step. Start with the demos people watch most, keep the Arcade versions live until the new ones are published, then swap the embed codes on your site. Each new demo comes with its step-by-step guide.

Will I still have to record again when my product changes?

Sometimes. Text changes are edits. Change a label or a price on the captured page, or find and replace a name across the demo. A moved control, a new layout or a changed flow means recording that flow again; clickable demos can add new screens with + Capture more screens. In Arcade, editing captured HTML is on Enterprise, and Page Morph on Growth changes the page before you record.

Does AtriumKit make videos like Arcade’s AI Video?

In part. The video studio, in beta and on every plan, turns a demo or a short brief into a motion video and exports a 1080p MP4. AI narration with timed captions is on Pro and Team. It doesn’t export GIFs or 4K, or turn a screen recording into a video. Arcade’s AI Video is a separate subscription. Its Free plan makes videos up to 30 seconds at 1080p with a watermark, and Pro, from $49 a month billed annually, exports 4K.

Do both work with Claude and ChatGPT?

Both have an MCP server on every plan. Arcade’s reads demo performance (on Growth and up) and makes AI videos, and can’t create or edit interactive demos. AtriumKit’s lets Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor edit steps and tooltips, translate, publish and read analytics, with each action keeping its plan limits. Text on the captured pages is edited in the editor, not over MCP. See AI assistants (MCP).

Does AtriumKit have SSO, SOC 2 or custom domains?

SSO is part of Enterprise, set up with your IT team during onboarding. AtriumKit doesn’t have a SOC 2 report yet, and it doesn’t offer custom domains. Demos and guides are served from AtriumKit’s domain, and you can embed them on your own site. Arcade lists SOC 2 on every plan, and puts SSO and custom domains on Enterprise.
