Screens and hotspots
Every page becomes a screen.
Choose Clickable in the extension and click through your product. Each page you visit becomes a screen, and each click becomes a hotspot from one screen to the next. Go back to a page you already visited and it reuses that screen when the page looks the same.
- Give each hotspot a label and a hover hint, and send it to a screen or an external link
- Set the Start screen where viewers land first
- Switch to the Map view to see every screen and how they connect

Smart stitching
Menus work from every screen.
You clicked Invoices once, on the dashboard. Viewers expect it to work from every page. Smart stitching finds the same sidebar items, tabs and menu links on every screen and links them to the screens you recorded.

Exploring

Viewers move between screens in any order. Hotspots stay hidden until someone hovers over one, so each screen looks like your product. A click in the wrong place briefly shows where they can go.

What’s the difference between a clickable and a guided demo?
A clickable demo is a sandbox of linked screens that viewers explore on their own. A guided demo takes viewers along one path (or a few branches) with a tooltip on every step. You choose the type when you start recording.
What happens when a viewer clicks something I didn’t record?
Nothing breaks. Only hotspots go somewhere, and a click that misses them all briefly shows where the hotspots are. Smart stitching only links to screens you recorded, so record every page you want people to reach, or add it later with + Capture more screens.
Is smart stitching on the Free plan?
Yes. Clickable demos, smart stitching, the Map view and HTML capture work on every plan, including Free.
Can I build a clickable demo from screenshots?
Yes. Choose Clickable in New demo, then Upload screenshots, and draw the hotspots yourself. Smart stitching needs pages recorded with the extension, because it reads the links and buttons on each page.
Can I change a link the stitching added?
Yes. Select it to change where it goes, edit it on every screen it’s on or just this one, or delete it. Links you remove stay removed. See hotspots and stitching.
