AI assistants (MCP)
Edit demos from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
Connect your AI assistant to AtriumKit and ask in plain words. Rewrite the tooltips for a CFO, translate the demo into German and publish it, or find the step that loses the most viewers.
- Free (included)
- Pro (included)
- Team (included)
The MCP server works on every plan. Each action keeps its plan gate, so translations, voiceovers, personalized links and knowledge search need Pro or Team.
-
Works with your assistant
Claude on the web, desktop, mobile and Claude Code, ChatGPT in developer mode, Cursor, or any MCP client.
-
Edits land in the draft
Assistants change steps, copy, choices and settings the way you would in the editor, and publish only if you allow it.
-
Your permissions, nothing more
Each connection works in one workspace, with your role and the scopes you pick when you connect.
-
Every change on record
Edits show in version history as “via Claude”, so you can see what changed and restore an earlier version.
What assistants can do
Hand the busywork to your assistant.
AtriumKit gives assistants 45 tools that call the same API as the dashboard. They read your demos, change the draft and report back, with the same checks the editor runs.
- Edit: rewrite tooltips, find and replace a word across a demo’s copy, add, move or delete steps, set branching choices, stitch clickable demos and update brand kits
- Translate and voice: add a language, then generate voiceovers for every step or screen
- Publish: publish or unpublish, change who can view, add a demo to a collection, or make up to 500 personalized links at once
- Make videos: have the AI director make a video from a demo or a brief, change a scene or ask AI to rewrite it, and record its narration (video studio, in beta)
- Report: read analytics and leads, find the biggest drop-off, and list personalized links
- Look things up: read any published demo as a guide, or search your knowledge base
Permissions
You decide what it can touch.
When you connect, you pick one workspace and what the assistant may do there. Your role applies on top, so a viewer’s assistant can read but never edit.
- Read demos is always on. Add Edit drafts, Publish, Read analytics and Read leads as you need them
- Leads are personal data, so an assistant only gets them when you tick Read leads
- Assistants see screens the way viewers do, with blurs applied, and read text with emails and phone numbers masked
- Admins can see and revoke every member’s tokens and connected apps
Connect
Sign in once, or use a token.
Paste the server URL into your assistant and approve the connection on an AtriumKit page. For scripts and clients that can’t sign in, create a personal access token instead.
- The server URL is
https://app.atriumkit.com/mcpfor every client - Claude adds it as a custom connector, and Claude Code and Cursor take one line of setup
- ChatGPT connects in developer mode, where your ChatGPT plan offers it
- Tokens last 30, 90 or 365 days or never expire, and AtriumKit emails you whenever a token is created or an app connects
- Settings → AI assistants & MCP shows the steps for each client, with snippets to copy
Version history
See who changed what, and how.
Assistants work on the draft, like you do in the editor. Their edits show in version history as “Edits by Ana (via Claude)”, and viewers see nothing new until someone publishes.
- Preview and restore any earlier version if you don’t like a change
- Plan limits apply exactly as in the dashboard, from published demos to AI credits
- AI rewrites and translations use your AI credits, and AI voiceovers use your narration allowance
- Not available over MCP: deleting demos, recording, editing screenshots or captured pages, members, billing, integrations and brand kits
How it works
- 01
Add AtriumKit
Paste the server URL into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor as a custom connector or MCP server.
- 02
Approve
Pick the workspace and what the assistant may do on the AtriumKit consent page.
- 03
Ask
“Translate the onboarding demo into Spanish and publish it.” The edit shows up in version history.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Which plan do I need?
Any plan, including Free. Each action keeps its usual limits. Free publishes up to 3 demos and has 25 AI credits a month, and translations, voiceovers, personalized links and knowledge base search need Pro or Team.
Can an assistant delete my demos or change billing?
No. Deleting demos, recording, editing screenshots or captured pages, members, billing, integrations and brand kits aren’t available over MCP. An assistant can unpublish a demo only if you give it Publish.
Do I need an access token?
Usually not. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor sign in with OAuth, and you approve the connection on an AtriumKit page. Create a personal access token for scripts and clients that can’t sign in. Creating one asks for your password, and it works on the MCP server only.
What can the assistant see?
What your role and the scopes you granted allow. That’s your demos, screens as viewers see them (blurs applied, emails and phone numbers masked), analytics if you allowed it, and leads only with Read leads.
How do I disconnect an assistant?
In Settings → AI assistants & MCP, click Disconnect next to the app or Revoke next to a token. It stops working on its next request. Changing your password or leaving the workspace disconnects everything. See Connect AI assistants.
